How do we do it best for ourselves when we are heavily pregnant

When we are pregnant, it can sometimes be a bit difficult to be in your own body. Therefore, I would like to share a few good tips and show some things that made it a bit better and more comfortable for me to be pregnant.

I would like to share that with you here.

First and foremost, there is a great pillow here. FILIBABA's multipillow – it is basically like a long sausage-shaped pillow. It can later be used as a nursing pillow, but during pregnancy you can sleep with it. You can place it around your belly and throw your leg over it, so your pelvis relaxes a bit more. It is truly fantastic, especially when everything feels a little uncomfortable. It gives some support and ease. So, I would definitely recommend such a pillow – especially when you are pregnant, but also afterwards.

Another thing many experience during pregnancy is itching and tight skin – especially in the last trimester when the belly grows a lot, and the skin gets stretched. The skin is doing a bit of overtime and gets tight, and it itches.

There is a brand called The Weeks, which has created an oil specifically for this purpose. It is made with almond oil, which penetrates well into the skin and provides a bit more elasticity. How much it works, and how little, I do not know – but for me, it was really soothing. It helped with the discomfort and the itching I experienced, and it felt really nice.

The nice thing about the oil is that it is also made to be used for perineal massage as preparation for childbirth. A two-in-one solution – both for the belly and to prepare you for birth. A really lovely oil that I can warmly recommend.

When we talk about postpartum underwear, there is actually something you can already start using before you have given birth. The postpartum briefs are actually made so that you can easily wear them while you are still very pregnant. So it can be a really good idea to buy them in good time and start using them already during pregnancy – so that it is not just immediately after birth that you use them. They simply feel so comfortable to wear. There are no seams that press into the sensitive skin, especially around the belly. They are really good to start using early.

I am also really fond of this nursing bra, which has neither seams nor closures. You do not have to open anything – it is just like a really soft and nice sports bra... which isn’t really a sports bra, if you understand what I mean. It is just really lovely to wear, especially when you have sore breasts.

And there is no reason to wait to use the nursing bra until you start breastfeeding. You can absolutely start using it before – especially this one, because it has nothing to open or close. It is just nice to wear. The same concept as with the briefs. It has really been a gamechanger for me and made everything a bit more comfortable. There was nothing that squeezed, nothing that scratched or hurt.

I hope you can use it. It worked really well for me. I had a really good third and fourth trimester, and although everything is a bit heavy and challenging, fortunately, there are some things that can make it more comfortable.
