JOHA
JOHA is for me an absolutely essential brand to have when it comes to our baby and children, especially when we live in a country with such changeable weather and temperature.
About Joha
Our story
Joha is one of Scandinavia's largest producers of underwear and nightwear in wool and cotton for babies and children. The company was founded in 1963.
Joha's focus today is exactly the same as it was 60 years ago: uncompromising quality, the best wool, durable fits, and lovely design. Joha was the first company to produce machine-washable wool underwear for children and has been among the leaders in the European market for the past 40 years.
The Joha name is marketed in sizes 40-170 in about 900 stores in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Iceland, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, England, and Japan.
Today we have about 350 employees spread across Europe.

Our wool
The unique properties of wool
Wool has a fantastic ability to absorb moisture, keeping your child dry while also protecting the child's health and well-being.
With its insulating properties, wool naturally regulates temperature - keeping warm when it's cold and cooling the body when it's hot. Ideal for both winter and summer.
Wool is moisture-absorbing and can hold up to 40% of its own weight in moisture, while cotton absorbs only 8%. Furthermore, wool is gentle on the skin –
and for particularly sensitive skin types, Joha has developed a quality with wool on the outside and cotton on the inside.
Our cotton
All our cotton collections are of the highest quality, and we have dedicated an entire collection to organic cotton!
Our values
We care for the environment
Joha places great emphasis on environmentally friendly production. Our products have OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 certification, ensuring that the products are tested for harmful substances.
In addition, most of Joha's wool products are recognized by the international Woolmark certificate.
Woolmark is one of the world's most recognized textile labeling symbols. Products bearing this mark are tested according to The Woolmark Company's strict requirements. This thus guarantees the best quality and purity of wool.
Recently we received the "Animal Welfare" certificate.
